Renhua Na
Dr Nina Na is a postdoctoral research officer in the Department of population health with a concentration in cancer epidemiology at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Brisbane. She received her M.D. specialised in gastroenterology from Peking University in 2010 and her PhD in medicine from the University of New South Wales Australia in 2015. She is interested in the aetiology, prevention and survival of endometrial and ovarian cancer as well as oesophageal cancer, and its premalignant precursor, Barrett’s oesophagus. Recently she developed strong interest in pharmacoepidemiology to examine the effects of common medications on cancer risk, prevention as well as survival after cancer diagnosis. She has extensive experience working with large-scale population-based longitudinal data, data from the Epidemiology of Endometrial Cancer Consortium as well as PBS and MBS data.
